Reducing environmental footprint and cutting costs focus of Chamber breakfast briefing

by Richard Critchley, Transport, Environment and Planning Policy Manager at Greater Manchester Chamber

Local businesses can discover the cost benefits of reducing their environmental impact at our breakfast briefing being held at our offices in Warren Bruce Court, Trafford Park on 28 October.

Hardly a week goes by without climate change or carbon emissions hitting the news. Businesses will be able to hear from a panel of experts who will provide a range of simple practical tips to help local firms reduce their environmental impact and save money in the process.

The briefing will look at how some other organisations have tackled their environmental footprint, delivering environmental improvements and cost savings.

In addition, guest speakers from a range of companies including Groundwork, United Utilities, GMPTE, NISP, Brother, Edinburgh Bike Scheme and Viridor Laing will provide practical advice and tips to help businesses to reduce your water, waste, energy and transport use becoming greener and more efficient.

Attendees will also be able to look at a display of renewable energy and low carbon technologies.
The free event is from 8 - 10am and for further information and to reserve a place, please contact Contact Tina Youngman on 0161 245 4722 or email: Tina.

We hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you there.
